.Silly technology.
Got all set up to conduct my first phone interview today at work…..when the dual headset decided to take a nap and not participate! So fingers crossed it wants to play nice tomorrow and i can actually talk to someone about their application!
We’re moving the office around tomorrow too, so we’ll all have new desks and i’ll be able to set up ‘office home’...

.First Day.
I made it through my first day at work hoorah!!! There was SO much to take in i’m completely pooped! Learning all about the pub industry and how complicated running a pub can be for our potential clients etc. But i did get to wear a fancy headset thingy and had a sneak peek at my desk! I did some overtime at work today and had a lovely lovely day!
Spent the day working on recruitment stuff i’m involved in this year and being very productive. I could definitely see myself doing this kind of job full time, i’m really enjoying it! I think its about time for me to accept that it is now autumn as I just had to switch my heated blanket on for bedtime. Yes I have a heated blanket at the age of 22. They are brilliant inventions and in no way are they limited to those over the age of 65. Every bed should own one!

.My heater's working overload.
Why is it so chilly in this country right now? We’re definitely waving bye bye to a summer never had and starting to see the first signs of autumn. The days are getting shorter and i’ve practically forgotten what the sun looks like, our skies are perpetually a mass of grey cloud. I’m sat here in a giant hoodie with my low energy heater on full blast and i’m still shivering....

I haven’t been feeling brilliant today but I powered through my shift at work and even rounded up the strength to go to a Combat Class with timbob this evening.
It was such good fun, and a great way to work out frustrations! We did end up two sweaty messes at the back of the room though after about 30mins!
….had fish & chips for tea afterwards though so oooopsie! :p
