Along my fitness journey I’ve seen SO many articles with titles like ‘Hardcore fitness quotes for men at the gym’, or ‘MEN ONLY: Quotes to make you burn harder’. These articles are filled with so much toxic masculinity and seem to completely ignore the fact that women often like to train hard too. Similarly, I’ve also seen those workout quotes for women that are all based around glowing makeup and working out to look good for a man. Sorry, 1950 called and wanted its gender stereotypes back.
