Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lip Colour, Creme Coral Review & Swatch

I’ve really gotten into lipsticks over the past few months and braved some pretty bold colours, but recently i’ve found myself looking for some more subtle pigments to wear in the office during the day. I’m constantly drinking tea and munching on things at my desk so wearing bold colours becomes a real pain to keep on top of without constantly walking around with a faded middle and crazy liner-looking colour around the edge! That’s why when i had Laura Mercier Lip Colour* drop through the door i was quite excited to give it a whirl.

Creme Coral is a very subtle pinky coral nude colour that is incredibly moisturising on the lips. We all know i love my matte lippy but this lipstick gives just enough moisture without looking glossy and it lasts surprisingly well for such a moisture rich lip colour. It contains Olive Oil and Vitamin E to keep your lips looking luscious throughout it’s wear and as it’s quite a subtle colour it fades nicely too. Laura Mercier is obviously a luxury brand so their products come with a luxury price tag too, at £20 a pop i’d be reluctant to buy a makeup case full of these lippies, however i would certainly buy more. I think i’d be more inclined to spend this kind of money on a brighter, bolder, statement colour from the range rather than a subtle shade, however this could just be me and my strange spending habits!

You can find Laura Mercier Creme Lip Colours on their website or from House of Fraser HERE for £20.
