We’re big mojito fans here at xameliax. Ever since our awesome trip to Havana last year, Rum has been a staple part of our bar cart at home and we love experimenting with fun new ways to use it.
So we decided to try out an apple mojito…with a twist! Double the booze, double the taste. You’re going to like this one!
Apple Mojito Recipe
2 Shots Rum
2 Shots Apple Juice
Handful of Mint
Half a Lime
Apple Cider (Magners works well over ice)
Your Favourite Long Glass
(or even a cool pitcher if you’re making for friends!)
Green apple slices (optional)
- Slap and crush your mint and pop it in the bottom of your glass.
- Squeeze in your lime and pour over the rum and apple juice
- Add a big handful of ice and stir
- Top with apple cider
- Add more ice and stir again
- Garnish with a sprig of mint and an apple slice if you’re feeling fancy!
And there you have it – my Apple Cider Mojito! Tangy, fruity, with a refreshing apple fizz!
Perfect for mixing up at home for yourself or even in bulk for friends at a BBQ! Just triple the recipe and pop it all in your pitcher.
