My Go-To Festive Scent This Year | Yankee Candle Christmas

Yankee Candle Christmas Collection

We’ve burnt through our pumpkin spices and our autumn berries and now it’s time for possibly the biggest candle season of them all – Christmas!

With frosty gingerbread, pine leaves and cookies Yankee candle sure know how to make our homes festive with all their amazing seasonal scents…but what’s new this year?

They’ve got lots of sweet treats for those of you who like a bit of sugar in your candles – Sugarfrost Christmas and Christmas Wish are your jars! But regular readers will know I haven’t really got a sweet tooth (or nose!) as we saw in my Just Go picks from this Summer, I much prefer a woody, natural or fresh scent.

However I think this year I’ve found the perfect medium in Winter Wonder, one of Yankee’s new festive jars! With top notes of frozen lemon, mid notes of champagne and base notes of vanilla – it’s a lovely mix of fresh and sweet that I am LOVING right now. To me I smell sweet white chocolate, a hint of champagne and a slight citrus hit and it throws really well without being overpowering in any way.

I’ve also got my eye on Snow Dusted Bayberry Leaf for those chilly winter days working from home and Icy Blue Spruce for the bathroom!
