Waterfalls, Speed Boats, Spa Days and Exploring Abroad | #AAAinCroatia

Well, I don’t think we’ve seen a Week In Photos post as jam-packed as this one for a long time! For those of you who follow on instagram and twitter you will have seen that last week I jetted off to Croatia with Asos, Slydes and Croatia Wave for four days of travel fun! Myself and Amy from Salt and Chic along with a few other journalists spent the week swimming in waterfalls, riding speed boats, dancing at festivals, wine tasting, relaxing and soaking up some serious soon! There will be blog posts and vlogs coming your way in the next few weeks but for now I wanted to share some of my snaps for you from our time in Pag.

We spent the week in a beautiful villa that Croatia Wave had organised overlooking the sea and the mountains of Pag. I don’t think we could have got a more beautiful location to experience Croatia from and I fell in love with the country even more ever time we opened those curtains in the morning or we stepped out into the pool. Our first day was spent relaxing in the water reading our books and adjusting to the 35oC heat before experiencing a delicious wine tasting at a beautiful hotel – my kind of day!

On day two we took a trip to the Krka National Park where we swam in the waterfalls and took in the pure beauty that surrounded us. It was absolutely beautiful and I will certainly be back there one day – a real bucket list destination. In the evening we went out for a killer seafood dinner before hitting Fresh Island festival in style arriving on our own personal speed boat – an experience I won’t forget in a hurry…neither will my hair!

Day three we found a secret beach by our villa which completely took my breath away. We spent a couple of hours swimming in the clear and warm sea waters before heading back to the villa for more pool time with a few beers and private massages overlooking the sea – As you can imagine, I was in my complete element! In the evening we went out for more amazing food before heading back to the villa for our last night together.

On the last day we visited an Olive Garden in Lun to see how they produce their olive oil – we even saw an olive tree that was over 1600 years old…amazing! After waving bye-bye to the rest of our travel team Amy and I took a trip to Zadar Old Town where we spent the afternoon exploring before our flight home. Loaded up with local delicacies we boarded our plane and said goodbye to the beautiful country of Croatia.

Yesterday was spent at the spa with Joe relaxing and catching up on my week away. Such a fantastic way to spend a Sunday. After our tea and cakes we headed home for lots of cuddles with Wilson and a big tv catchup!

The next two weeks are incredibly exciting for us here at xameliax and I really can’t wait to reveal why next week! Don’t forget to follow on instagram too @xameliax for all my latest photos and adventures!
