This non alcoholic pina colada comes in at around 90 calories and can be made in less than a minute – perfect for your designated drivers, sober pals or just for when you feel like cutting down a bit.

Virgin Pina Colada Recipe
How do we make this magical 3 ingredient virgin pina colada?
Blink and you’ll miss it, it’s so easy…
Ingedients
- 50ml (2 shots) Cleanco R
- 100ml (4 shots) Pineapple and Coconut Juice*
- 1/4 Banana
- 3 ice cubes
*I found this in Sainsburys and it’s delicious! Make sure you grab the no added sugar one if you’re counting the calories and want to stick under the 100kcals mark.
Method
- Pop everything into a blender (I use my nutribullet which is also fab for frozen margs by the way!)
- Whizz until blended
- Pour into your favourite cocktail glass and garnish with a slice of banana and some glacier cherries! (or one of these if you’re feeling EXTRA tropical!)
What you get is a deliciously creamy tropical cocktail that tastes just like the real thing. Gone are the days of popping some pineapple juice in a fancy glass and pretending, this actually tastes like a proper Pina Colada!
Non Alcoholic Pina Colada
The secret to such an authentic tasting cocktail? Clean co R. The spirit itself is 1.2% ABV so in the UK it needs to be labelled as low alcohol instead of alcohol free. But to put that into perspective, a freshly baked roll is more alcoholic than this (coming in at 1.9% ABV) and you’d need to drink over an entire bottle of Cleanco rum neat to feel any effects at all. Basically, if you were to neck the entire bottle of this spirit then it’s still less than 1 UK unit. Plus we’re diluting tiny amounts at a time with the other ingredients so it’s well and truly in our virgin cocktail book!
*UPDATE* The entire Cleanco range (Rum, Gin, Apple Spice Vodka and Tequila) are now 100% alcohol free – 0.0%! So our Cleana Colada is a born again virgin – WOO!
Cleanco R is hands down one of the best no/low alcohol rums I’ve found so far and it’s lovely in a coke zero with a wedge of fresh lime too.
Highly recommend having a bottle of this on your bar cart because it’s a versatile one – not just for my yummy non alcoholic pina colada!
