You’ve got to love a little black dress, an LBD if you will. But what’s better than a staple LBD? One you can rock on multiple occassions and still look super suave on your big nights out! This Superdry Maxi Dress in black is perfect for a formal evening out with a pair of nude heels. I adore the off the shoulder look, thigh splits and ruched comfortable waitline…it means you can eat your fancy dinner and not feel like you’re about to pop out afterwards!
I felt like a million pounds swanning around in this little black number and it even worked well on my 32F chest which a lot of bardot tops don’t seem to do. It looks so good as an evening gown and it would also look amazing on the beach too! With it’s light texture fabric it’s not too heavy as a lot of smart evening gowns can be which makes it even more versatile.
For the evening I kept it simple with a small gold necklace and plain heels – the dress did all the talking and it paired perfectly with a bold red lip. Love love love.

Flip it round, change colours and you’ve got a gorgeous daytime outfit! The Superdry Maxi Dress in red paired with a pair of white trainers and a denim jacket is perfect for dressed down daytime chic!
I wore mine sightseeing around Stockholm drinking coffee in the old town, walking around the art district and enjoying lunch overlooking the city. And if you want to go even more summery you can switch out your trainers for some pretty sandals and ditch the jacket for a cute little boho off the shoulder daytime look…that as we know transitions perfectly into evening wear!
I adore the pattern on this version and love the look of it in navy too – it’s super comfy, really flattering and perfect for warm spring summer days. You’ll struggle to find a body shape that this dress doesn’t suit.
