New Bobbi Brown Corrector in Extra Light Bisque | A Comparison Review & Swatch

.

At Christmas Santa delivered my first pot of Bobbi Brown Corrector in the lightest shade Porcelain Bisque and i reviewed it gushing over how much i loved this lifesaving makeup product – see my full review HERE. After 6 months of daily use i finially finished my little black pot and had to re-purchase but as we’re coming up to summer and my skin will hopefully be gaining a bit of colour soon i decided to go one step up on the shade scale and try out their new Extra Light Bisque after recomendation from the Bobbi Brown online expert team!

When it arrived i was a little worried as the shade looks incredibly pink in comparison to the Porcelain’s stark hue and i did contemplate sending it back and retreating to my familiar colour. But i didn’t, for the sake of beauty i took the plunge, rubbed my finger into the perfect surface and patted it over my tired looking morning eyes… .

Happy days makeup fans, this worryingly pink shade actually looks incredibly natural and blends perfectly with my skin tone (warm ivory in their long wear foundation for reference) and i think i actually prefer it to the original brightening porcelain. It’s a lot less shocking and although it still brightens Extra Light Bisque has a very subtle correcting effect. So for those sitting on the fence between these two shades, it’s definitely worth giving Bobbi B’s new shade a go, because there’s a reason why their makeup artists have been crying out for it for so long and i’m very pleased they did!

You can grab a pot of Bobbie Brown’s corrector on their website HERE for £18 and read my full product review HERE!
