LUSH Ultrabland Facial Cleanser | Review

I’ve recently introduced three new products to my evening skin care routine and i’ve seen a miraculous turnaround in the look of my skin, so i couldn’t not share with you the second product responsible for this transformation – LUSH’s Ultrabland Facial Cleanser.

After introducing the miraculous Alpha H Liquid Gold which completely revived my dull and lifeless skin i was sadly still suffering with my usual breakouts around my chin and cheeks, so i decided to give Ultrabland a go after speaking with a very enthusiastic assistant in LUSH! Ultrabland is an oil based cleanser made with Almond Oil, Rose Water, Beeswax and Honey to help balance your skin’s oil production and properly remove all traces of makeup without stripping your skin of the good stuff. It smells a bit like play-doh and is odd to smear over a fully made-up face but when washed away (with a soft flannel and some warm water) it leaves your skin feeling so smooth and moisturised you could stop your routine right there. The lady in LUSH suggested using this for two weeks in the morning and at night for a real breakout beating effect, but i’ve found that with a week or so using it just in the evenings that my skin has cleared up tremendously and i am so happy with the results.

From someone who has suffered with acne for many years it’s incredible to find a natural, fairly inexpensive product that works so well. It’s even replaced my beloved Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Kit in the evening – shock horror! I’ll be buying this cleanser again and again because it’s really worked for my skin; so a massive thank you goes out to my bonkers LUSH assistant who so energetically recommended i try this out!

You can find Ultrabland Facial Cleanser on the LUSH website HERE for £10.75 a pot!

Have you tried Ultrabland before? Has it helped your skin as much as it has mine?
