Not only does Kiehl’s Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturising Serum Concentrate* win the prize for longest named beauty product ever made, it also wins a top spot on my beauty shelf because this bad boy, is a winter skin game changer. Not able to experiment with skincare willy nilly for fear of causing an uncontrollable breakout i get a little nervous when new items drop through my door. However when one of those products come from Kiehl’s all those nerves fade instantly away because my skin LOVES this brand. I use a plethora of their products already including their Skin Rescuer Moisturiser which is a godsend for red and sore skin, and their Midnight Recovery Concentrate + Eye Cream (-affiliate link ad) which are so luxurious and good for your skin i look forward to every time i use them – I didn’t hesitate to slap on this serum as soon as i got my mitts on it and i’ve been in love ever since!
Kiehl’s products contain lots of lovely ingredients that are kind to your skin but produce results like i’ve never seen from a skincare brand before. This serum when applied at night goes on silky smooth with just one pump needed to cover the whole face and even when used alone leaves me with incredible looking dewy and healthy skin in the morning. My pores seem smaller, my skin is bursting with moisture and it looks so healthy and fresh i almost had to do a double take the first time i woke up after using it. I’ve been using it for a while now and it hasn’t caused me any breakouts whatsoever but i don’t use it every night. I usually pop it on every other night or even once every three – whenever i feel my skin needs a bit of a boost. My skin has honestly never looked this good and i am absolutely in awe of the instant results i’ve seen with this serum.
As with most Kiehl’s products it doesn’t come cheap at £40 a tubem but a little goes a long way and the benefits far outweigh the costs of this one for me. I’ll certainly be buying this serum again when i run out, it’s just incredible.
You can find the Kiehl’s Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturising Serum Concentrate on their website for £40.
