On the last day of our #BlogTrottersGR trip we hopped on a coach and made our way down to Halkidiki for a Beach Party in the Greek sunshine! After a lot of walking around the city and exploring a day lounging around on a sunbed and standing on the sand with waves lapping at our feet was the perfect way to finish our Greek blogging adventure.
The sands at Halkidiki Beach are beautiful and golden with the beach stretching as far as the eye can see. Stunning clear blue waters and gentle waves make the sea incredibly inviting, even for a seasoned pool lurker like me and at just 1.5 hours from the city of Thessaloniki it’s the perfect place to escape to for a day in the sun. Surrounded by greenery and mountains in the distance I stood for a good ten minutes just looking at the view and felt all my worries in the world just melting away. We settled down on a sunbed and pottered up to the bar for cocktails, beers and fruit smoothies before relaxing away our last day in Greece and soaking up some serious rays.
It’s clear why people flood to Halkidiki every year for the perfect beach holiday – this place is beautiful. With a live band playing in the background and bloggers snapping away with their cameras it was such a laid back atmosphere and made for one incredible day. Usually one to frequent the pool instead of a sandy beach I can honestly say that I’d love to spend a day on Halkidiki beach again, it was so beautiful…regardless of how much sand ended up in my shoes!

Cocktails were flowing and the guys at the Lefki Ammos Beach Bar sure know their way around a cocktail shaker. With true Greek beach measures, fun was definitely had by all as we soaked up the afternoon sun and frolicked in the warm Aegean Sea. I went behind the bar and mixed up my very own mojito with my home measures to the horror of the bar guys which resulted in this rather hilarious photo…personally I think it sums up my take on life rather well!
Although our footprints may be washed away, these photos and memories will stay with me forever.

I was so sad to wave goodbye to Halkidiki, Thessaloniki and all my new blogging friends when our trip was over but we all left with a heart full of happy memories and a new love for this part of the world that will never be replaced. Thank you so much to Discover Greece and Aegean Airlines for hosting us on this amazing trip, we had an amazing time and I hope one day to be back to experience this beautiful city and beach again.
