I used to hate driving. I found it a waste of my time and purely used it to get from A to B but that was partly to do with the fact that I was driving an old rust bucket that was for the most part covered in wrappers and smelt a bit funky!
Last year I upgraded my car (*editors note* she was forced to get a new one as her old car finally kicked the bucket!) for a nice shiny new one and driving suddenly became a lot more fun. I take pride in my new car treating it to a wash every month and making sure it stays lovely and clean. But I never really invested in a proper car scent until now – hands up who just uses the crappy little cardboard ones your car wash throws in for free and hates the smell every time they get in!

Our Charming Scent was clean cotton which just reminds me of freshly laundered crisp white sheets and fluffy robes, so the obvious place for our road trip was A SPA!
We enjoyed a weekend of swimming in the pool, soaking in the hot tub, relaxing in the sauna and enjoying hot stone massages in their treatment rooms.
It’s amazing what an impromptu road trip can do for the soul! Both of us didn’t realise how much we needed this until we got there but it was heaven!
And of course we couldn’t forget the scent that inspired our spa trip all along, our clean cotton sheets in the hotel room! And those fluffy robes which we spent the entire two days in!!!
We both completely relaxed during our time at the spa and chatted away all evening – sometimes you need to just drive somewhere, get away for a night and push yourself out of that little bubble you’ve created for yourself in order to truly let loose and chill out.
