What I Wore | Warehouse Lace Panel Dress

Warehouse isn’t often a store i find myself in when out shopping, mostly because these days i go for quantity over quality to try and fit as much into my wardrobe as possible. But sometimes it’s nice to get your hands on a good sturdy piece of clothing, one that you feel a million pounds wearing because it’s well made and that little bit special. That’s how i feel about this simply beautiful Lace Panel Dress* from Warehouse. It’s fitted and structured style gives such elegance i don’t have from anything else in my wardrobe, and the lace panels create a girly feel to the outfit as a whole. The material is nice and thick with a heavy feel to the dress and it all just sits perfectly true to size (I’m wearing a UK size 8). I also adore the length as it rests respectably just above the knee, call me old fashioned but it’s just the right length for a lady! Originally this was £80 which would be a real splurge for me (especially because i don’t like to be photographed in things more than once in close succession) but now it’s in the sale at just £35 i think it’s a complete steal! On the website it describes the colour as brown but it’s actually a beautiful grey lavender – i can’t get enough of this colour and find it so easy to style.  I’ve teamed it with a pair of Primark wedges and one of their oversized clutches whilst keeping my accessories really simple as i think the dress itself does all the talking.
