I’ve got a LOT of hair, so naturally it needs a bit of preening. But recently I’ve been neglecting my locks and I haven’t been to see a hairdresser in over 4 months – naughty naughty – causing a plethora of split ends and a some none-existent layers! Luckily The Francesco Group* came to my rescue and invited me along to their Weeping Cross salon in Stafford for a well-overdue snip!
Parking is easy in weeping cross with a free car park right across the road from the trendy and sleek-looking Francesco Group salon. I walked in and was instantly greeted by smiling reception staff who showed me to the waiting area and got me filling out my details so they could get me registered on the system before my cut. No sooner had I popped my pen down was I introduced to Becky-Lou my stylist for the afternoon who offered me a drink (wine being my poison!) and took me over to ‘the chair’.
The salon itself was incredibly bright, spacious and clean giving it a very professional feel, and each chair had a screen at the side of the mirror with a bio of the stylist cutting your hair which I thought was a lovely touch. Becky-Lou sat with me and asked me in-depth about my hair, how I care for it at the moment, how I normally style it and what I wanted done which put me at ease right away – when you have hair as long as mine, letting a stranger loose on it with a pair of scissors can be pretty daunting!
After my consultation we went over to the sinks (which were a lot more comfortable than i remember from the last time I had a wet cut!) and Becky-Lou used some wonderful Wella Products to wash and condition my hair. There were televisions hanging from the ceiling to watch while your hair mask is soaking in and when I was ready to go back to my chair I felt totally relaxed. We got to work snipping away at my layers, split ends and fringe and after a good old-fashioned blow dry and a once over with some Cloud 9’s my hair was all done!!!
Becky-Lou snapped a piccy for me afterwards and I was amazed, it looked stunning! I felt like a princess with beautiful bouncy voluminous curls and i walked out of the salon with my head held high. I was packed off with a loyalty card and lots of information – a cut and finish with The Francesco Group Weeping Cross salon starts from just £31 and they offer a free fringe trimming service too which is super handy!
I’m so impressed with the service and haircut I had with The Francesco Group and I wouldn’t hesitate to head back in there for my next cut – a big thank you to all the staff, I’m in love with my new locks!
