Don’t worry, i haven’t ditched my Benefit Watts Up Highlighter for a newer model – i still use that every single day to highlight my cheeks and i’m still head over heels for it! I brought this product for something a bit different. Especially at this time of year i think my skin starts to look a little dull so needs a bit of an extra boost from the make-up end. You may think i’m a little cuckoo but i like to use this highlighter pretty much all over my face mixed in with my foundation to give it a bit of oomph and use the warmer glow of Watts Up just on the traditional highlighting areas. I find that with my high coverage foundation (Estée Lauder Double Wear for those wondering) this highlighter gives a subtle glow which ever so slightly shows through – not shiny, just glowing. You can either apply a small amount with a large brush before your foundation, or mix a drop with your foundation before you apply it – have a play around, but just remember that with highlighter, less is more.
It’s quite a nice feeling highlighter and has a very finely milled shimmer so blends really well. I like it, and i would buy it again -plus for £12 a tube it’s a real beauty bargain!
