Anyone that has watched any of your vlogs would know that you and Joe gave that grumpy little dog a very very loving home and although it doesnt take away the pain of having to let him go, you are safe in the knowledge that you made the rest of his life complete.

Last year at Christmas my husband's parents had to put down their family dog. She was so old that her legs didn't work properly any more so there was nothing else that they could do. My husband loved that dog so much, it was really heart-breaking. So sorry to hear of your loss, lovely.

Oh Amelia, I can only imagine how you and Joe are feeling tonight. Letting go of a much loved pet is so so difficult. You did the right thing though and you gave him a home where he lived out his twilight years. He was so loved right up until the end, that was singularly the best thing you could ever have done for him. He knew he was loved despite his peculiar ways!! I loved seeing him every week falling asleep oddly in his bed or standing outside not knowing where he was! Bless him. Yes I cried hard at tonight's vlog but it was lovely to be able to laugh and remember the funny times! Thank You for being brave enough to share it with us. xoxoxoxo
