Picnics In The Park, Bottomless Breakfasts and Baby Shower Fun

Ever have one of those weeks where when it’s over, the start just seems like an eternity ago? That’s been me this past week! On Monday Joe and I went to see Derren Brown Miracle in Leicester which was absolutely out of this world! If you’ve been thinking about booking tickets you absolutely must and don’t worry, you can read my review with absolutely no spoilers at all so it will all remain a surprise…how on earth I managed to write a review of a show without actually talking about it I have no idea – you can be the judge if I’ve done it well or not! Tuesday and Wednesday were spent working hard to line up blog posts and edit videos ahead of a very exciting trip next week (those of you who follow on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter will already know!) and Joe, Wilson and I thoroughly enjoyed the sunshine on our evening walks.

On Thursday I got the new coloured Benefit They’re Real mascaras and push up liners through the post – absolutely LOVING the brown shades – and Joe and I went out for a curry for a family friend’s birthday. The final line up for V-Festival was announced (super excited!!!) and I jazzed up my salad with some crayfish tails…rock and roll.

On Friday night Joe surprised me with a champagne picnic in the park and an outdoor showing of Shakespeare! It was incredibly romantic and the perfect way to round off the week – I was so surprised and couldn’t stop smiling, what a lucky girl indeed!

On Saturday Joe and I hopped on a train to Birmingham to Gas Street Social for a bottomless brunch! Two hours of unlimited Bellinis and a whole lot of breakfast – it was yummy and we’ll certainly be back! After brunch we took a stroll by the canal, shopped in the bullring and I got my nails done at HC LuxSpa before heading to Jamie’s Italian for more drinks and nibbles!

Sunday was spent at a lovely friend’s baby shower in the sunshine making babies out of Play Doh, guessing childhood faces and designing baby grows before heading home, dodging the torrential downpours and spending the rest of the weekend relaxing in front of the telly!

I hope you’ve all had a great week – stay tuned for more blog posts and vlogs from my Greece trip and another exciting flight next week!
