MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Lightscapade | Review

I recently blogged about the Body Shop Radiance Highlighter that i was using mixed in with my foundation as an all over face glow after my holiday and although i still like the effect it gives i feel it may be a little too glowing for my now pale winter skin tone.

So when i was in MAC the other week (buying my new favourite lipstick) i decided it was time i jumped on the Mineralize Skin Finish train with everyone else! The shade i brought is called ‘Lightscapade’ and it’s a beautiful light pink powder with subtle blue marbling running through it. I use my Eco Tools Powder Brush to dust this product all over my face before finishing with my blusher and Watts Up Highlighter and i just adore the look it gives. It’s a very subtle finely milled shimmer that lifts your skin and leaves you with a healthy, glowing and bright looking finish. I think this skin finish is going to be a godsend throughout the winter months as the chilly weather starts taking it’s toll on my skin. It’s also going to last me forever too, so i think the £21 price tag is reasonable. I always think that highlights feel like an expensive luxury product anyway – does anyone feel like this too?You can get your makeup loving mitts of one of these finishes from your nearest MAC store or on their website HERE!

Have you tried any of MAC’s Mineralize Skin Finishes yet? Which is your favourite?
