The other week i was incredibly lucky to be invited along to the Costa Coffee Roastery for an exclusive tasting of their new blend before it launched into shops across the country! Since then every time i’ve wandered into Costa i’ve asked for their new roast in a (soy)flat white and have really enjoyed it, such a wonderfully dark taste with that Costa smoothness we all love.
A little about the new roast:
“Costa is proud to introduce Old Paradise Street Limited Roasts to coffee-lovers across Britain. We’ve drawn on over forty-three years of coffee expertise to bring you a series of limited edition roasts available alongside our original Mocha Italia blend. These delicious new coffees are named after our roastery on Old Paradise Street in Lambeth, London. It’s where we’ve been blending and roasting Mocha Italia for years, and more recently, where we’ve been experimenting and developing this new exciting range.
Our expert team at the Roastery, lead by Chief Taster, Gennaro Pelliccia, have been working hard to develop this new range of exclusive coffees, each offering a unique combination of flavours and aromas.Old Paradise Street Limited Roast No.3 is the first of our limited edition coffees in the range. It’s made predominantly from flavoursome Colombian beans and will be available only until the next roast is launched, so make sure you try it before it’s gone for good!”
