Time to dive into another box of surprise gourmet food sent straight to your door with the October Flavrbox! There’s a really interesting mix of nibbles in this one perfect for the ever-darkening Autumn evenings – let’s take a look at what’s inside:
Wilkies Chocolate 3*Tumbes 75% Cocoa – Another product for chief dark chocolate taster Joe and the verdict is gooooood. If you’re into your dark heavy chocolate then this one’s for you but it’s also dairy, gluten, soya and nut free too – pretty impressive Wilkies. I think i may have to slip a bar of this into a certain someone’s stocking.
TeaShed Skinny Green Tea – I have a love/hate relationship with Green Tea but this bad boy is a real winner. No bitter aftertaste – really smooth and of course fantastic for you. I’d definitely consider buying this tea again…still haven’t used the cup though, it’s currently holding pens for me on my office desk!
Scarlett & Mustard, Scarlett’s Ornamental Ginger & Soy Sauce – This is an interesting one and a product that has been used a number of times on our stir fry dinners since it arrived. A little bit different to your usual soy sauce and it makes a fabulous veg dressing when mixed with a smidge of honey.
Mr Trotter’s Proper Potatoes Jalapeno Crisps – Loved these. Super spicy, ridged, quality crisps that were a real treat to tuck into. Hotter than i thought they were going to be with a really fresh jalapeno taste – gutted we only got one pack of these as i could have kept eating and eating!
Pater’s Yard, Spelt & Fig Artisan Crispbreads – We’ve had crispbreads from Peter’s Yard before and they were yummy back then too. Great for your cheese board with just a hint of fig – these are going to be perfect for the festive season.
