I love a good bargain when it comes to my clothes, especially when I can find that bargain without even leaving the comfort of my sofa! Last month I discovered the brand Pretty Little Thing and got lost on their site for a little longer than is probably normal! I managed to bag an outfit for around £65 (minus my bag and sandals) and I’ve had so many compliments on this look I knew I had to share. If you’re looking for a new budget brand to obsess over or even if you already know PLT and just fancy a bit of inspiration, this post is for you!
Waterfall Jacket: Pretty Little Thing* | Crossover Crop Top: Pretty Little Thing* | Faux Suede Midi Skirt: Pretty Little Thing* | Tote Bag: Michael Kors | Sandals: New Look (old) | Gold Cuff: Pretty Little Thing* | Sunglasses: Pretty Little Thing* | Necklace: Primark
First I picked up this Faux Suede Midi Skirt for £20 and I absolutely love it! It hangs so nicely and feels great for the money – not to mention being bang on point for this summers 70’s boho vibe. The white crossover crop top I picked is great for me with its long sleeves and longer bottom line showing off just enough tummy without scaring anyone when paired with a high-waisted midi. It needs a bra, and for my fellow bigger busted ladies out there you may need a little safety pin to keep the girls under wraps when walking, but it’s easily secured and looks great!
(Very dirty soles after a lot of shopping around Birmingham!)
Paired with this gorgeous waterfall sleeveless jacket it makes for a classy daytime look that you can dress up or down with heels. I chose a pair of studded flat sandals from my stash and a trusty tote to finish it all off, but I would have gone for these if they’d have had them in my size – currently watching them like a hawk in case they come back into stock! In all honesty the quality of this jacket isn’t the best with visible over-locked edges that look a little unfinished, but to the untrained eye you wouldn’t even notice and for £20, it’s a bargain!
On the jewellery front I’ve chosen a gorgeous gold cuff and my favourite rose gold stacker rings with an old necklace from good old Primark and some retro round sunnies – simple and understated with a bold wrist and flash of turquoise blue! I’m obsessed with Pretty Little Thing right now and I can’t wait to place my next order – definitely check out their sale too and bag a few late summer bargains!
