My Beauty Cream Product Heroes

Cream Product Heros

If you’d have asked me a couple of years ago what I thought about cream blush or eyeshadow my response wouldn’t have been great! I’ve never found any beauty cream products that work for me, forever creasing, wiping off my foundation or generally not going the distance. But over the last year I’ve discovered a selection of creamy products that have really impressed me and my face and although I’ve mentioned them here and there I’ve never given them their own stage to shine on! So here we are, probably extremely over due – my beauty cream product heroes from Benefit and No7!

No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter Stick £9.95 – I have two of these, one for when i have a tan (check it out in my Best Bronzing Products For Summer article) and this beautifully pink stick for when my skin is its usual English Rose shade – they’re just so darn good! Hard enough to draw wherever you need it but soft enough to blend beautifully into the rest of your makeup. The big chunky stick application is so easy to use and it’s great to pop in your handbag for on the go glow.

Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadows £15.50 full size – I got one of these as a little sample when buying something else from Benefit, the beautifully rosey Sparkling Champagne. I absolutely loved it as soon as I put it on although the sample pot was a bit of a nightmare for application without a brush. Now I’ve got two full-size bad boys for my makeup draw too Bikini-tini (an oyster gold) and Birthday Suit (a gorgeous bronze brown) and I absolutely love them all. Creamy and smooth I find they do crease slightly on their own (I think I have sweaty eyelids!) but with a bit of primer they’re the best thing since sliced bread and they last all day too! Application takes a bit of getting used to if you’re a powder girl at heart but once you get the hang of blending you’ll be laughing your way to that beauty counter.

N07 Cream Blush Maple Silk £8 – I got this from Boots No7 back in December for me to create three festive makeup looks and ever since it dropped through my door I haven’t stopped using it. I have the shade Maple Silk which is a lovely deep browny red and the formula is just so glowy dewy it’s perfect for creating a wonderfully plump blush look. It blends like a dream with your fingers or with a brush and it doesn’t slip or fade – a real winner for me.

Benefit Majorette Creme Blush £23.50 – I may have just saved the best until last! Benefit’s Booster Blush, Majorette, designed to be worn under your usual blush or alone with it’s cream formula that turns powdery when applied to the skin is a beautiful product indeed. It doesn’t take away any foundation when blended and I like to wear mine under Benefit Coralista or my ultimate fave Dallas for a boosted blush look. I love the formula of this one and it’s a real must have for any beauty drawer!
