I adore Barry M’s Gelly Polish formula and when their new Autumn Gelly collection* dropped through my letter box I fell head over heels. These polishes are so retro it hurts, a real grandma’s carpet-esque range of colours that are PERFECT for the new season coming our way. If you haven’t tried any of the Gelly Polishes before you need to high-tail it down to your closest Superdrug or Boots and pick up a bottle because they apply like a dream and leave behind the most professional finish you can get outside of a salon.

From Left to Right: Cardamom, Chai, Paprika, Mustard, Cocoa and Chilli

As for the colours, I’ve got three firm favourites from the collection which I’ve swatched above (on my super short nails thanks to kickboxing gradings and lugging boxes around moving house!) – Paprika, Cocoa and Mustard along with some adorable real dried flowers I found on ebay and my Born Pretty Store medium round studs. They complement each other perfectly but are strong enough to wear alone although I’d be wary of mustard with my pale skintone all over without any darker accents. For Cardamom, Chai and Chilli my nailvengers girls Allie and Lucy from Brit Nails and Lucy’s Stash have some beautiful swatches of the whole range if you wanted to take a look at the other three colours in action – my stubby nails really don’t do them justice at the moment!

The Barry M Autumn Gelly Polishes are some of my favourite releases yet and I know they won’t leave my nails throughout the new season. At only £3.99 a bottle you can afford to buy the lot so get your vintage on girls!

You can find the Barry M Autumn Gelly range on their website here.
