Autumn Hair Saviours For Long Locks

Sebastian Hydre Conditioning Shampoo and Conditioner

This is the time of year i find my hair needs an extra bit of TLC. With colder weather, constant heating in the office and blustery days it dries my hair out and makes it look terribly greasy all in one go! So i’ve rounded up my two favourite products that are saving my hair right now – the Sebastian Hydre Moisturising Shampoo & Conditioner* and Batiste’s new Floral Essences Dry Shampoo*.

I’ve got a lot of hair and as my skin can be quite temperamental with new products i love trying all sorts of different things out on my locks instead. I’ve found a lot of moisturising hair products i love but the Sebastian Hydre duo is my current favourite with it’s sleek salon packaging and professional product smell. There isn’t really a lot to say about this haircare set apart from the fact that it does exactly what it says on the tin and leaves your hair feeling super soft and looking incredibly healthy. It packs a serious moisture punch without weighing my hair down and my dry ombre ends absolutely love it – at around £8 a bottle it’s not the cheapest shampoo & conditioner set i’ve ever used (and also not the most expensive) but it again as it lathers up like crazy so a little goes a long way and i wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again. It’s a real pleasure to use and is a serious must have for any long haired beauties in need of a moisture boost.

Batiste Floral Essences

I don’t think i’ve ever found a person who doesn’t worship Dry Shampoo and Batiste really is the master of the market. I’ve tried every single can this company has made (tropical still being the old faithful) and i wouldn’t be caught without one on my dressing table. At the moment i’m loving their new Floral Essences ‘flavour’ which smells like a beautiful English garden and just like the rest of the Batiste range it works wonderfully to disguise that one, two or three day old hair! Just shake, spray, rub, brush and go! This bad boy is an absolute essential for windy days that destroy your fringe in minutes – i even keep a mini can in my office drawer in case i get caught out on my lunch break!

You can find Sebastian Hydre on the Hairtrade website here and the full Batiste range right here.
