An Aromatherapy Moisture Boost At Home For Dry Skin

Aromatherapy Associates Moisture Boost (3)

I don’t have great skin at the best of times but in the cold and windier months it tends to get incredibly dry and itchy. Having acne prone skin can be tricky when injecting a bit of moisture but recently I’ve been trying out a three-pronged approach from Aromatherapy Associates* and it’s been working wonders for me.

Hydrating Face Oil (£45) – Starting with the best. I’m obsessed with face oils right now and my skin loves them. With oily acne prone skin you’d think putting oil on was the worst thing to do but actually it’s quite the opposite. I’ve noticed a real difference since I started using this oil and it smells incredible. Fine lines have reduced, no more dry patches and my skin glows all day long – it’s pricey but a little goes a long way (just two little pumps) and it smells incredible.

Soothing Cleansing Balm (£38) – Moisture doesn’t have to stay in the final steps of our skincare routine, with this Soothing cleansing balm you can inject more moisture right from step one. It’s thick, it’s creamy and it leaves my skin feeling beautiful after using it – it’s been a pleasure to use and again my skin loves it. The Chamomile tames any red areas and leaves my skin feeling clean but smooth.

Clear Mind Bath & Shower Oil  (£45) – Last but not least is a luxurious little bottle to look after the rest of your skin not just on your face. With multiple oils to help you relax in the bath this wonderful oil fills the room with aromatherapy scent and leaves your skin feeling soft and supple without having to do anything but relax and read your book for a while in the bubbles – perfect!
