.Weekend in Photos | Part 2.
Saturday night we’d planned an early suprise night out for Joe’s 30th birthday with his closest friends! I managed to get him into town to our favourite little fine dining restaurant without suspecting a thing where he was greeted by a group of friends all waiting to wish him happy birthday! After a beautiful meal (my scallops and duck were to die for) we headed out into town for lots of drinks and memory making. Getting in after 4am(!) not something either of us do much anymore we headed straight to bed and ashamedly didn’t rise until midday on Sunday!
Sunday of course was Easter and I woke up to an adorable (and very tasty) Milkybar chocolate farm and the cutest bunny slippers ever made! These things have honestly not left my feet since I got them, I’m totally in love! The rest of Easter Sunday was spent watching football with a cold beer and chomping down on a beautiful curry in the evening whilst starting season 2 of Game of Thrones - I’m so behind but loving it!
The last day of our bank holiday was a really productive one. I managed to snap blog pictures and get a few queued while joe cleaned and tidied the house. We then went out for a little 2.7 mile run as we’re both signed up for a grueling muddy obstacle course in the summer for charity and need to get training - if you want to support you can donate £1 by texting ‘XAGX50 £1' to 70070, i’m running for Breast Cancer Care and there’s bound to be lots of muddy photos! Afterwards we had a nostalgic (but protein filled) post-run meal of dippy eggs and soldiers! Afterwards we sat down together cuddled up on the sofa feeling incredibly relaxed and happy. What a perfect and fun-filled four days!

I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend too…only 4 days to go until the next one!
