.May Birchbox UK | Review.

Wow, wow, wow – i LOVE this month’s Birchbox! Sometimes with subscription boxes you get one or two amazing items and then a couple that you’re not overly interested in but this month i love everything inside. The May Birchbox UK* has really outdone itself so lets take a look at what we got this month:

Elemental Herbology Cell Plumping Moisturiser - I love trying out new moisturisers but as i have problem skin it’s sometimes a big risk spending a lot of money on items that aren’t going to work for you. This is a great size sample – enough to give it a proper whirl – and as it’s quite thick i’m intrigued to test it out and see if it does make my skin feel a little plumper!

Doctor Duve Anti-Aging and Firming Eye Cream - with a full size pot of this eye cream coming in at £115 i’m not surprised we have a sachet sample here! I’m never going to drop over £100 on an eye cream (unless i win the lottery) but even though i know i wouldn’t buy it i’m still excited to try it…although i feel as if i need to save it for a special occasion!!

OPI Nail Lacquer - I adore these little OPI bottles, they’re just great for keeping in your handbag in case you’re called out somewhere with naked nails. I received a beautiful coral colour that i’ve worn already and love so as a nail art junkie this is a fantastic product to get in a beauty box.

B/Attitude Body Souffle - Now i look after the skin on the rest of my body and moisturise a few times a week (are you proud?) i’m rather excited to try this product out. It smells divine and at just £24 for the full size it’s not out of my price range if i liked it and wanted to re-buy. It’s a lovely thick but light texture – just like a souffle (how about that) – and again the sample size is big enough for two or three goes!

Makebelieve Sunbeam Bronzer  and Brush- This is a big one! What could be a full size bronzer complete with a wonderfully soft mini kabuki brush. Perfect for quickly brushing on your cheeks for a bit of a glow and such a lovely colour too. Not too orange and complimentary to even the palest skin tones (i should know) i’ve really enjoyed using this and it’s made it’s way into my every day makeup pile. I just wish the packaging was a bit more compact so i could throw it in my bag but never mind!

Kusmi Detox Tea - For my birthday Beth brought me an adroable little tea diffuser which i haven’t had the chance to try yet but i think Birchbox may have delivered something for it’s maiden voyage – Loose Detox Tea! It comes in a cute little tin which will be very useful and the tea smells incredible - like sherbet lemons! It’s meant to help cleanse the system and detox your body which is perfect timing with my new healthy regime so I shall be giving this a whirl tonight after my kickboxing class and hopefully i will have a body like Victoria Beckham by the end of the week!

Aside from all the wonderful products inside this month’s Birchbox they are also giving 30% of all e-shop purchases during this month to Fashion Targets Breast Cancer and if you refer a friend they will donate £5 to the cause too. I’m so impressed with this month’s box and i think combined with the charity aspect it’s quickly become my favourite box yet.
