Another busy week for me – August is jam packed and I’m still finding my feet with a brand new schedule! My week started with nutella and a new toy from Urban Decay before a manic day of last minute sewing to finish my 4th dress ready for a wedding at the weekend! I took Wilson with me to mum and dad’s house where he spent the whole afternoon pottering around their garden and exploring!
That evening it was my last night before becoming a brace face the following day so Joe bought home a bottle of my favourite red to enjoy with a big juicy steak as a little farewell to stainy food before my appointment!
On Wednesday I took a trip to the dentist to get my 6 Month Smiles Braces fitted which is something I’ve been planning for a while! I made some overnight oats to eat afterwards just in case I couldn’t handle proper food but it turns out I was fine with solid things and afterwards mum took me to the spa for some belated ‘well done’ treatments on my new job! We both got shiny new nails and toes and enjoyed a cup of tea outside before heading home.
Thursday was work work work with walks for Wilson at lunch and more new toys this time from NEOM with a gorgeous hair and body oil that smells incredible! I put the finishing touches to my dress and we packed up ready to head down to Cornwall for the weekend and our friend’s wedding!
On Saturday our lovely friend’s got married at The Eden Project in a lovely ceremony inside their Mediterranean Biom. The sun was shining, the bride looked beautiful and we all had a wonderful evening!
On Sunday before we started our journey home Joe and I took a trip to Padstow for an afternoon at the seaside! Fish and Chips from Rick Stein’s followed by Cornish Ice Cream and a coffee in the sunshine – such a lovely part of the country. We hopped in the care and had an easy journey home to Wilson who’d been spoiled to death at his Grandma and Grandad’s house over the weekend with roast beef and lost of treats!
Here’s to another busy week (hopefully sunny) and V Festival at the weekend!
